Kenya Safari Departing from Atlanta, Georgia on May 4, 2009 Returning to
Atlanta, Georgia on May 14, 2009 We'll visit the Samburu people who are one of the few culturally authentic ethnic groups in Africa. You may see Samburu warriors walking through the bush along the river with barely more than a stick or small spear for protection. These immensely proud people are both charming and colorful. Their ancient ways, shared by the Masai, remain a mystery. We'll venture to the land of the Masai - nomadic pastoralist people who believe that they are custodians of all cattle in the world. The Masai follow the rains to good grazing to nourish their cattle and enjoy the seasonal bounty of the region.
